The Appendix and Darwinian Evolution

Charles Darwin

In recent months, we have quoted university medical schools’ researches that told us of the human appendix’ part in maintaining and strengthening our immune system it being a “factory of good flora.”

We have asked atheistic or Darwinian evolutionists to offer their public apologies for telling us that the human appendix is a vestigial organ soon to be discarded being a useless part of the body. But up to now, I’ve not read of any such apology for their false claims. When I wrote that the medical research favors creationism instead of atheistic evolution, one professor castigated me and said that he is a Christian and that evolution is scientific. I would like the Christina professor to scientifically demonstrate that the human appendix is a useless vestigial organ. I would like the Christian professor to scientifically demonstrate that the human appendix will soon be discarded. I would like the Christian professor to scientifically demonstrate that the human appendix has been an evolutionary organ from lower species since homo sapiens are in the apex of evolutionary tree. I would like the Christian professor to demonstrate or cite medical science researches that there has been any discarding of or any diminution of the human appendix from the time of the ancient Egyptian and ancient Greek medical practitioners.

The Bible speaks of plants and animals reproducing “after their own kind” so there’s a kind of evolution within a certain degree or within the family or “kind”. Just like the evolution of the telephone of Thomas Edison up to the Nokia cellphone today. It is within the family of the telephone. But evolution transcending and crossing the chasms of orders and phyla is the area of contention.

I have personally asked a veterinary doctor if she has observed or if she has read about primates like the monkeys and chimpanzees and orangutans having appendix. I was told that she knows nothing about appendix in lower families of animals.

If the Christian professor could not do the above, then I continue to claim that the human appendix being a “factory of good flora” favors creationism and shames Darwinian evolutionism. (Eusebio Tanicala)
