8 Baptisms in Olongapo City
From Olongapo City, brother Higato Tulan, Sr. reports that eight souls were taught and were immersed into the death of the Lord Jesus last April 10 during the annual Central Luzon Family Bible Encampment.

11 Baptized in Baguio City

During the April 8-10 Baguio fellowship of Northern Luzon congregations, a special class for “seekers” was conducted for friends and relatives of church members who have started studying the Bible. Encouraged by the special lessons presented to them and other lessons in the plenary sessions, eleven young people were baptized.

22 Baptized During the Metrowide Youth Camp

Brother Randy Macapagal of the Kalookan City congregation that meets at Morning Breeze Subdivision reports that twenty two young people obeyed the gospel of Christ during the April 7-11 Metrowide Youth Camp held in Nozagaray, Bulacan. Young people from congregations in the MetroManila area, Batangas and Cavite were greatly blessed by the lessons and experiences in this outdoor affair which is arranged by church leaders of the said area.

28 Attends Training in Ilocos Norte

In a text message sent in by brother Abel Mariano of Laoag City, he tells us of a preachers training held April 9-10 in Dingras, Ilocos Norte. There were twenty eight in attendance.

Conversions in the Cagayan Valley

Preachers and church leaders continue to share the gospel to our people. On March 4 three inmates in the Quirino provincial jail in Cabarroguis town surrendered their lives after several weeks of gospel lessons with brethren Banaga, Tangunan and Mercado. Baptized were R. Sumalbag, J. Rivera and R. Ignacio who are serving terms in the provincial prison house. Brother Rudy Mercado and Edward Tangunan conduct classes every Wednesday in this provincial jail.

In the third week of February Mario Bolesa and Ed Tangunan fully taught Mr/Mrs. Pepito Bolesa. Wife and husband decided to obey Christ in water baptism on Febuary 24th.

During the last week of February while brethren Mercado, Concepcion, Lumandaz, Bagachon, Bolesa, Tangunan and others were repairing the chapel in Potia during day time, they preached at night time. After several nights of teaching, four young people were baptized. In the first Sunday of February, brother Eusebio Tanicala visited and preached at Potia, Ifugao. #

Potia, Ifugao chapel rebuilt

Several church leaders in Isabela and Ifugao joined hands this month of February in rebuilding the chapel at Potia, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao. Brethren Rudy Mercado, Mario and Edward Tangunan, among others, labored several days to make the hall a respectable place to study the Bible and hold congregational worship. While the group labored at day time at the building, they also preached the gospel at night time. On February 24^th four young men were fully taught and dramatized the gospel of Christ in water baptism at a nearby river.

Congregation Started in Mountain Province

Brother Emilio Panday reports that three souls were baptized on December 17th bringing the membership of a new congregation to six. Michael Gomez stayed behind a few days in Natonin, Mountain Province to assist the new congregation in holding their first worship service and to give more Bible lessons to the new converts.

New Congregation Planted in Zambales

A report sent in by Eden Moral-Tulan tells of the baptism of a family composed of Ed, Berna, Jennifer and Phoenix Langaman this January in San Antonio, Zambales. These will form the nucleus of a new congregation in the town of San Marcelino. The four were baptized by Rodrigo Moral, Jr., a fieldworker from the preacher training school in Angeles City, Pampanga last January 2.

Centerpoint Church Baptism Update

Veronica Lumibao of Gabriela Silang district, Baguio City, was baptized on Sept. 12th by Linwill Llado, an intern/student at the Philippine Missionary Academy. This is the 40th baptism of the Cenrepoint Church of Christ Baguio since January this year. (Report by Emil Panday)

Southern Leyte Congregation Celebrates 3rd Anniversary

HINUNANGAN, SOUTHERN LEYTE- The congregation in Hinunangan celebrated its third founding anniversary on August 10th. Special guests for the occasion were Ken Wilkey and Eusebio Tanicala who also served as speakers in the three night gospel meeting. After the Sunday morning service three elderly people who were taught the gospel submitted themselves to water baptism and were immersed at the ocean which is about 200 meters away from the church meeting place.

The church had a fellowship lunch after the worship service.  Orvin Arago & his wife and Salvador Ruflo are the workers in Hinunangan.  Samson Octobre of Bontoc, Southern Leyte and three others rode their motor bikes and were able to get in as the Bible Study class was going on.

8 BAPTIZED IN BAGUIO

Brother Emilio Panday reports that eight precious souls were brought to Christ Jesus’ blood and were baptized last June 28 in Baguio. They now attend the Centrepoint Church of Christ. Baptized were Isidro Fossing, Marcial Madriaga, Gladys Victor, Mae Legaspi, Gemma Piliyen, Manuela Dimas, Jocelyn Bengcan and Victoria Ayao-ao.

Baptism in Itogon, Benguet

Dychelle David, Perlita Doney and Jean Anton obeyed the Lord Jesus the first week of June by submitting themselves to the ordinance of water baptism. These brethren are from Daclan, Atok, Benguet. They were immersed at the Itogon Resort. (By Emilio & Erwin Panday)

Four Baptisms in Balanga, Bataan

Four souls were added to His kingdom last May 25, 2008 at Balanga City, Bataan. Names are Avriel May Visitacion, Ada Visitacion (both daughters of Bro. Leo Visitacion.), Kristine Quiambao, and Regine Valencia.

8 baptized in Matalam, Cotabato

A gospel campaign was conducted last May 3 in Kibudoc, Matalam, Cotabato by preachers and church leaders who came from the provinces of Cotabato, Davao del Sur, Sultan Kudarat and South Cotabato. Eight souls obeyed the Lord Jesus through their faith and submitting themselves to baptism. These brethren are added to the congregation in this town.

On May 31^st, another weekend campaign shall be conducted in Bansalan, Davao del Sur.–F. Guillermo

4 baptized in Apayao

Brethren Dionisio Subagan and Roland Lazo report about the obedience of four souls in Santa Marcela, Apayao on the 20th of April. This group has a concrete chapel built on a lot donated by a family in the Lord’s church.

CENTRAL LUZON FAMILY BIBLE CAMP

Congregations in Region 3 (Central Luzon) have their annual fellowship that is usually conducted during the so-called holy week. This year’s affair, March 20-22, was hosted by the Metro Manila Project 6, Cabalan and Barretto congregations. This Family Bible Camp  was held at the Johneva Beach Resort in San Narciso, Zambales which was attended by 178 brethren.

Baptism in San Mateo, Isabela

Brethren Doroteo & Paulina Felipe were taught about Christ’s gospel and on 16 March they obeyed the Lord in baptism. Brother Valdez immersed them. – Ed Tangunan

2 Baptized in Tuao, Cagayan

Brother Jhun Ma reports the conversion of Amado Sabado and Lily Pascua who were baptized into Christ’s death on March 20th in Tuao. #

Baptism In Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur

Brothers Roger Nonog and Roland Lazo report the obedience of one in Santa Maria who was baptized on January 17 at the China Sea. The newly planted congregation in Santa Maria has an average attendance of 35  in the Sunday morning services. Brethren in nearby Narvacan town help in the nurture of this newly planted congregation in Santa Maria. #

Six Added To Centrepoint Church

Emilio Panday reports that six souls were baptized at the Riverview Resort and are added to the Centre Point congregation in Baguio City. Baptized were Sabado Walang, Noel Walang, Julius & Rina Walang, Cel Lagua and Joan Balero. #

Six Baptized In Pangasinan

After the morning service in the Tayug fellowship-joint worship on March 2, six precious souls confessed faith in Jesus Christ and were baptized. Nic Graneta, Tayug minister, immersed them at the chapel baptistery.#

Ten Baptized in Baguio City

From January 5 to February 20,2008 the Centrepoint Church of Christ in Baguio reports the obedience of ten souls and were baptized into the body of Christ. 3 Baptized in Ilagan, Isabela

Brother Bal Lagua, Sr., evangelist based in Ilagan town, reports that on Jan. 27, three of those he has been teaching obeyed the Lord and were baptized. They are Gemma Mondejo and daughters Ma. Pia Angeline and Karen Kaye.

Soul Harvest 2007

Coming back to Baguio City on the 28th of December from his third evangelistic and leadership training journey to the Visayas and Mindanao, brother Santiago Sameon II makes this summary:  174 souls baptized in several places he visited and in various church affairs he participated in.
